Molly Malone’s.
Social media / GlasgowA good pub deserves a good story.
A good pub deserves a good story; and at Molly Malone’s in the heart of Glasgow, I’ve helped tell it. From promoting live music and major sporting events to creating eye-catching campaigns around the pub’s famously affordable pints, I’ve worked to turn everyday moments into engaging digital content. My approach combines a journalist’s eye for a story with an understanding of what gets people through the door. Through social media strategy, creative campaigns and community engagement, I’ve helped build Molly Malone’s online presence while keeping its unmistakable Irish character at the heart of everything.

One for the history books.
As Digital Lead, I helped bring St Patrick’s Weekend at Molly Malone’s to life online; with real-time updates, authentic content and the unmistakable energy of a packed Glasgow pub. Live music, sport, Guinness and the people who make Molly’s what it is were at the heart of the campaign.
The strategy was simple: authenticity, community and a whole lot of craic. The result was a weekend that travelled beyond the pub, with media coverage, audience photos and videos, and a surge in digital engagement.
Figures shared in the Molly Malone’s St Patrick’s campaign recap, compared with the previous Paddy’s Day.
It was a team effort, from the staff creating the atmosphere to the people sharing their experiences. The digital impact reflected what was happening in the room; and that’s the point of good social media.
Good craic. Good content. Good business.
